A coffee shop in Austintown will be showcasing artwork made by folks in the Valley with disabilities.
Grizzly Bean Coffee Shop in Austintown is partnering with Gateways to Better Living to feature artwork of individuals with developmental disabilities on its coffee sleeves starting in June.
Every coffee purchased from Grizzly Bean will come wrapped in a one-of-a-kind sleeve designed by a local artist served by Gateways to Better Living, a program supporting adults with developmental disabilities providing them opportunities to connect, grow and thrive.
"Gateways to Better Living Community Engagement Director Kristie Murphy says this collaboration is a celebration of ability, creativity and community.
"Our artists are incredibly proud to share their work and we're thrilled to see it appreciated in such a public and meaningful way," Murphy said.
