Crash brings down pole, wires; closes Youngstown road

A traffic crash shut down a road on Youngstown’s east side early Tuesday.

The Youngstown Fire Department was dispatched to Wilson Avenue and Shehy Street at just before 4 a.m. after a report that a utility pole and wires were down.

Firefighters called the street department to close Wilson Avenue.

21 News is working to learn more about the crash, if anyone was injured, and if any power is out as a result.

FirstEnergy has been called to remove the pole and wires.
