The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown has named the new president of Saint Joseph the Provider School.
According to the release, Patrick Lowry has been tabbed as the Turin Street school's new leader.
Lowry has more than 25 years experience in education with 22 of them coming from his time as a teacher, counselor, coach building leader and union representative at Warren John F. Kennedy High School.
He also served as Director of Strategic Initiative for Youngstown City Schools and spent the last 18 years as Director of Communications and District Press Secretary for former congressman Tim Ryan.
Lowry is a Youngstown native, having graduated from Ursuline High School and Youngstown State University.
"I am excited to be joining the Team at St. Joseph the Provider School," Lowry said. "I look forward to working with the staff."
