The Canfield Police Department is still looking for two other suspects allegedly involved in a stolen car investigation.
Canfield Police Chief Charles Colucci said the incident began after police were alerted to a stolen vehicle out of Boardman.
After a flock camera notification, an officer chased the stolen car until it crashed at the intersection of S. Turner Road and Herbert Road around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
Three suspects ran from the scene after the crash. One of them, a juvenile, was arrested.
He was taken to the Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center Tuesday night and was interviewed by officers Wednesday.
Chief Colucci said the two other suspects are adults and officers are working leads to find them. Their identities have not been released due to the ongoing investigation but he said they're known to area law enforcement.
Canfield police, the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office and other local agencies assisted with the search. K9s, drones and an Ohio State Highway Patrol helicopter were used Tuesday night.
The search was called off after 9 p.m.
Canfield Police Sergeant Chad DeBarr told 21 News that there is not a threat to the public and they do not believe the suspects are armed.
