Youngstown Pride event set for June 14

The Valley’s LGBTQIA+ community has announced plans for this year's Pride Youngstown event in the city’s Downtown Outdoor Refreshment Area on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Organizers say the parade, music, performances, and drag artistry will take place from noon to 9 p.m. and are open to all ages.

Activities include a parade, various performances, local vendors, and community resources.

Parade participants will line up at 11 a.m. on Commerce Street at Symphony Place, with the parade stepping off at noon.

Opening remarks, a prayer, the national anthem, and a moment of silence are scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

The Scenic Route is scheduled to perform at 1 p.m. and again at 3 p.m. A drag spotlight featuring Latrice JLove Diamond and others is set for 2 p.m. A live drag improv performance, "Who's Drag Is It Anyway?", will take place at 4 p.m.

A live singer showcase, hosted by Starrlet O’Hara and featuring Candace O’Hara, Skye Walker, Adel Pickle, Daisy, Diane Marie, and Helena Bottom Harder, begins at 5 p.m. A local drag showcase, hosted by Bia Bia and including Maxxx Hysteria, Wicked Wiz, Legendary Kiwi, Terrin Stitches, and Crucivixen, is scheduled for 6 p.m. The Miss Americans are set to perform at 7 p.m.

The city's Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be active during the event, allowing individuals 21 and older to carry alcoholic beverages in approved cups. Downtown restaurants, including The Federal, V2, Avalon Pizza, West 34, Draught Haus, Casa De Canzonetta, and Yonder Brunch and Vibes, will be open.

Event partners include The Rust Belt Theatre Company, Youngstown Prop Shop, D.O.P.E. Cider House, Penguin Brewing Company, The Palace Loft, and the City of Youngstown Health Department.
