Trumbull County Jobs and Family Services workers get wage increase

Trumbull County Jobs and Family Services and the AFSCME Local 458 union have reached an agreement on a new contract.

JFS employees will see a 4% wage increase starting Aug. 1, 2025. They will also get an additional 2% wage increase on Aug. 1, 2026.

The Trumbull County Commissioners accepted the wage increase at their meeting on Wednesday. 

The union had been negotiating for a new contract since at least April. The workers include eligibility specialists, investigators, security officers, social workers, unit support staff, management information systems specialists, and clerical staff.
