The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are partnering with Ohio's 529 Plan, College Advantage for another season to promote youth excellence in academics.

Ohio's 529 Plan will be awarding 20 youth league teams in either baseball or softball the chance to participate in the Field of Dreams experience, where 9 team members will run out onto the field and join the Scrappers players for the national anthem.

Additionally, the team members and three coaches will receive Scrappers tickets.

Students also have the chance to cash in on good grades through Tickets for A's by bringing their report cards. For every A grade, students can receive a free general admission ticket to Scrappers games from June 20 to June 22.

During the Scrappers' June 10 game, there will be a college and career fair in the concourse. High school juniors and seniors can visit with schools at the fair for a chance to win a $500 scholarship and a $529 savings award courtesy of Ohio's 529 Plan.

Ohio's 529 Plan, College Advantage aims to help parents and students invest and save money for education after high school.

Youth baseball and softball teams wanting to participate in Field of Dreams can enter at the link here for a chance to win.
