Shenango Township Police Chief warns against improper use of toy guns

The Shenango Township Police Department is concerned that the improper use of toy guns by juveniles in the community could lead to a tragic event.

The department sent out a press release, claiming that they have received several complaints of juveniles driving around with toy guns pointed out of the window, and conducting "ambush attacks" at the homes of other juveniles.

The department also claims that the juveniles are spray painting the toy guns black, soaking the Orbee balls in Bleach, and wearing black ski masks when carrying out their ambush attacks.

In the release, Shenango Township Police Chief Jason Newton said that the attacks concern him, and worries that a bystander could see the spray painted toy gun, or witness an ambush attack, and use a real firearm in an attempt to protect themselves or others.

Newton also warns that if the police department receives any complaints, there will be no warnings, and that the people involved will be charged.
