Salem ice cream shop opens second location in Austintown

An ice cream shop that's made a name for itself in Salem has now expanded into Austintown.

Totally 80s Ice Ice Cream Shoppe has opened a second location at 1600 South Raccoon Road in Austintown between Wedgewood Pizza and Subway across from Barry Dyngles.

The store kicked off its grand opening with free cupcakes, arcade games and board games and of course plenty of ice cream all with a healthy dose of 1980s nostalgia.

The original location opened in downtown Salem back in April of 2024.

The shop will be open from noon until 10 p.m. during opening day. It will reopen Thursday, May 29 and will remain open seven days a week from noon until 9 p.m. daily.
