Spring’s journey to summer isn’t always sunshine and warmth - especially true this year. The midweek timeframe remains undefeated in this soggy pattern, and this week is no exception. High clouds have spilled overhead announcing changes coming our way as we’ll be dodging a few more raindrops this week - as if we didn’t receive enough this month.
It's a notably warmer start to the day as we head back to work and school, with wake-up temperatures a full 10 degrees higher than yesterday morning.
Welcome back to the routine! It's back to work, back to school, and right on cue, back with the midweek rain chances. Wet weather seems to be reserved for the middle part of the week in northeast Ohio/western Pennsylvania. While your Tuesday stays dry, expect light, scattered showers to fill in overnight and make for a wet Wednesday morning commute. Good news for your Tuesday though: we'll stay dry before the wet weather takes hold overnight and into early Wednesday.
Looking ahead, Thursday and Friday offer a brief reprieve from the midweek wetness, with just the slightest chance of a shower amidst sun and clouds and pleasant temperatures near 70 degrees. However, don't put those umbrellas away just yet. Friday night into Saturday could get a little noisy as a system drops in, bringing us morning showers to kick off the weekend.
Who would've thought highs near 70-degrees with glimpses of sun would be cause for celebration this late in May?
Have a great Tuesday!
