Man wanted for parole violations, reward offered

According to a news release, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a monetary reward for information which would lead to the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Jamel Smith, pictured above, is wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority and the United Sates Marshals Service.

He is wanted for violations of parole according to the release.

Smith, 32, is described as a black male, weighing approximately 200 pounds and standing 6-feet-2-inches.

Smith is known to frequent the Cuyahoga, Summit and Youngstown areas.

The release encourages anyone with information about Smith to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED, or send a web tip at the United States Marshals website.

Tipsters can remain anonymous according to the release.
