Crews respond to car on its side in Austintown

Crews are responding to the area of South Turner Road and New Road in Austintown due to a crash.

A picture from a 21 News crew at the scene shows a vehicle tipped up on its side.

Police on scene tell 21 News the accident involved three vehicles, although the cause of the accident is unclear at this time.

Police say the person in the car that tipped on its side was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but is expected to be ok.

South Turner Road is temporarily blocked off for northbound traffic until the scene is cleaned up.
