Westbound lanes reopened on Route 224 after car, motorcycle accident

The westbound lanes of US Route 224 just to the west of Market Street were closed following an accident that happened around 3 p.m. Thursday.

According to officials on the scene, the accident being investigated was between a vehicle and a motorcyclist. The person on the motorcycle was transported to the hospital. 

Police, fire, and EMS responded to the accident, and the westbound lanes have reopened.

OSP is investigating the accident.
