Families across Trumbull County are invited to gather at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library for a day of fun, learning and community spirit during the 4th Annual Family Day and Summer Reading Kick-Off Challenge.
The event, hosted in partnership by the Trumbull County Historical Society and the library, will take place on June 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Warren Library, 444 Mahoning Avenue, Warren.
The event is open to the public and free of charge.
The celebration features hands-on experiences, creative arts and crafts and the "Touch a Truck" hour featuring vehicles from the Warren City Police and Fire Departments from noon to 1 p.m.
Free food will also be available while supplies last.
"This is a great opportunity to bring families together, celebrate the start of summer, and connect with the community in a meaningful way," said Ryan Maclennan, Director of Operations and Outreach for the Trumbull County Historical Society.
Maclennan continued, "Whether you're joining for the crafts, the trucks, or just to spend a joyful afternoon with family, there's something here for everyone."
Family Day is designed to kick off the library's summer reading program while offering a welcoming space for residents of all ages to connect and engage.
