Mercer Food Bank to give away meat, vegetables, fruit, pet supplies in Hermitage

The Mercer County Food Bank is having a food giveaway on Friday for income-eligible residents.

The food giveaway will take place from 1 pm to 3 pm, or while supplies last, at the Sharon Baptist Church, located at 1531 George Street in Hermitage. 

The food bank is offering assorted frozen meats, onions, potatoes, cabbage, honeydew melons, peaches, assorted drinks and assorted baked goods. They are also offering sunscreen and pet supplies.
