Belmont Pines Hospital, Liberty Township Police and Fire award scholarships

According to a news release, Belmont Pines Hospital and the Liberty Township Police and Fire Departments have partnered to award two students with scholarships.

Liberty High School seniors Kandice Bates and Trenton Long each received one of the two $1,000 scholarships presented.

Awards were presented at the annual Senior Awards Banquet on May 21.

"We are very proud to be a part of the Liberty community for the past 32 years. Kids are our mission. We love to celebrate all children's achievements! Congratulations to Kandice and Trenton. We wish them continued success," said Belmont Pines CEO, Eric Kennedy.

According to the release, Bates and Long will apply their scholarship awards at Youngstown State University and Stark State College respectively.
