KeyBank employees are set to attend and volunteer in over 20 community organizations and projects across eastern Ohio.
This volunteer work is a part of KeyBank's 34th annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day, in which KeyBank employees can earn paid time off for partaking in projects and organizations in the areas where they live and work.
"Neighbors Make the Difference Day is part of our commitment to the communities we call home and a day that our teammates look forward to dedicating their collective time and talent in East Ohio each year," said KeyBank East Ohio Market President Joe Daleiden.
According to the media release, ever since its launch in 1991 Neighbors Make the Difference Day has seen thousands of Keybank workers contribute to more than 600 projects and organizations across the country.
This year, dozens of Keybank workers in eastern Ohio will be partaking in over 20 organizations and projects. Among these projects and organizations is the Youngstown Community Food Center, a food bank located at 94 Pyatt Street in Youngstown.
Neighbors Make a Difference Day will be taking place on June 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. and will coincide with the year-long bicentennial of KeyBank.
Keybank locations in the area will close at noon due to this event taking place.
