The Youngstown City School District (YCSD) has received three awards of merit from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) for two podcast episodes hosted by Superintendent Jeremy Batchelor.
These awards were given from the Digital Media Awards category of the 2025 National School Communication Awards given by the NSPRA.
The awards went to Batchelor's podcast, Belly-Left Leadership and two episodes, entitled "Discover Youngstown City Schools" and "Why Youngstown."
"We are incredibly honored to be recognized by NSPRA," said Superintendent Jeremy Batchelor. "These awards reflect our team's dedication to fostering an engaged and informed community and motivate us to continue enhancing and innovating our communications efforts."
