Buhl Park swimming pool to open for 2025 season Tuesday

The swimming pool at Buhl Park in Hermitage is set to kick off its 2025 season Tuesday, June 3.

According to Buhl Park's website, the pool was originally supposed to open Memorial Day Weekend, but colder weather over the weekend prevented that from happening.

Lap swim for season pass holders will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday through Monday, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. plus 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays.

Lap swim will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. opening day, and Tuesday and Thursday lap swim hours will switch to 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. beginning July 21. 

Meanwhile, open swim will take place from noon until 8 p.m. These open swim hours will apply to every day except Wednesday, where the pool closes at 5 p.m. for swim lessons.

Day passes are $10 per person except for Wednesday when they are $5 per person. Season passes are $125 for one person and $200 for a family pass for  four. Children age three and younger are free.

Rates are also available for families larger than four people, and discounted rates are available for Hermitage residents. In order to get the discounted rates, you must fill out this form

The pool features a diving board, shade sails and an aqua wall. Outside food is permitted, but no outside drinks are permitted. Julia's Cafe is on site at the pool offering a variety of snack and drink options.

The last day for the pool season will be September 1.
