Busy Austintown Twp. road closed after vehicle knocks down utility pole

U.S. Route 62 near North Raccoon Road is closed on Monday after a vehicle knocked down a utility pole. 

The Ohio State Highway Patrol told 21 News that Ohio Edison has been dispatched, but expects the road to be closed until around 7 p.m. Electric lines are currently drooped across the roadway. 

No word on what caused the accident or if anyone was transported. OSP is investigating the crash.
