Route 422 in Southington reopened to westbound traffic following crash

Route 422 in Southington has reopened to westbound traffic after what was reported as a traffic accident involving a semi-tractor trailer and an SUV.

Callers to 9-1-1 reported the crash at US Route 422 and State Route 534 in Southington just after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

A dispatcher with the Ohio State Highway Patrol told 21 News one person was taken to the hospital, but her injuries were not serious. 

Westbound traffic along Route 422 was shut down while the crash was being investigated. Traffic is moving again as of Tuesday afternoon.
