The Ohio State University Department of Athletics will debut a new section of premium seating coming to the Ohio Stadium in 2026 for the football season according to a news release.

Called the South End Zone Premium Seating, it will feature 400 premium chairbacks and nine elevated field-level suites with 12-person capacities located in front of the south stands.

In addition, according to the release, the chairback seats will be the widest chairbacks in the stadium.

Fans in the South End Zone Premium Seating sections will have access to their seats from the same tunnel the Ohio State Buckeyes use to go to and from the locker room and field.

In addition, each of the 400 chairback seat purchases will include full admission to the 1922 Club that will feature all-inclusive food and drinks opportunities before, during and after the game.

According to the release, deposits for the 400 chairbacks, priced at $6,000 for a season, are now being accepted at the premium seating website.

The suite sales will begin at a later date, according to the release, but interested individuals can learn more at the premium seating website.

Interested fans have until June 27, 2025 to reserve chairback seats according to the release.

"We're proud to introduce a premium seating area on the field level in the south end zone of Ohio Stadium - an investment that reflects our deep commitment to enhancing the fan experience," said Senior Vice President and Wolfe Foundation-Eugene Smith Endowed Athletics Director Ross Bjork.

Bjork continued," This addition is designed for passionate members of Buckeye Nation, bringing greater comfort, improved access to the field level and a wider range of seating options to better serve even more fans."
