A recount was done Monday night in the Youngstown mayoral race from the May Democratic Primary.
Youngstown 3rd Ward Councilwoman Samantha Turner told 21 News she requested the recount because she wanted to see how the recounting process was conducted.
In May, incumbent Mayor Tito Brown narrowly defeated Turner with a final tally of 1,989 to 1,928.
The recount did not impact the results and Brown will still appear on the November ballot.
Turner conceded the race after election night.
Brown will face challengers in November with Derrick McDowell, Aleesha Foster and John White having filed to run as independents.
