Menards hosts food drive for Warren Family Mission throughout June, July

Menards in Warren will be accepting food donations for those in need throughout the summer.

From now until the end of July, Menards in Warren will act as a drop off site for non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Warren Family Mission to help those in need.

Items accepted range from boxes of cereal to cans of soup. These items can be found in the store's grocery department for immediate donation. Customers can place their donation in the large collection box near the exit doors.

A representative for the Warren store tells 21 News response from the public at past drives has been great with buckets being filled weekly and sometimes even multiple times per week.

Staff members also join in by providing their own food donations.

The representative told 21 News he attributes the success of Menards's food drives to the fact that a lot of people shop there regularly and are familiar with the store's previous drives.
