Roemer Industries celebrates facility upgrades

Manufacturing company Roemer Industries, LLC celebrated the addition of new equipment and facility expansions with a ribbon cutting ceremony at its production plant Wednesday afternoon.

The company manufactures custom nameplates, safety and warning labels, metal barcode tags, among other identification products for industrial businesses.

Among the equipment upgrades is state-of-the-art computer-to-screen (CTS) laser equipment, meant to improve screen printing capabilities and production capacity for the company's clients. 

CEO David Gurska says the ribbon-cutting marks a milestone in the company's expansion efforts, while keeping employees at the center of focus.

"I've owned the company now for three years, it kind of [speaks] to our growth and strategy and how we're doing as an organization," Gurska tells 21 News. "And we're an employee-first company, so it's exciting."

Gurska added that investing in upgraded technology not only continuously improves the quality and scale potential for production, but improves job quality for existing and future employees.

"It's important for us that as we grow, to be able to attract high quality individuals, so we want to make sure the jobs are easier and exciting for them to do," he said.
