A Youngstown man charged with child pornography offenses will not be spending any time in prison.
Nicholas Belcastro, 43, was sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to five counts each of pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
He must also register as a Tier 2 sex offender and continue taking behavioral health classes.
An indictment states Belcastro's crimes occurred in October 2021. He was secretly indicted in December 2024 and subsequently booked into the Mahoning County Jail.
Previous plea hearings had been scheduled for April 17, then continued to May 15, and again to June 5.
