Cornersburg murder suspect brought from Pittsburgh to face charges

 A suspect in the early April murder of Nestor Diaz in Cornersburg has been extradited to Mahoning County after being arrested and held at the Allegheny County Jail.

The thirty-eight-year-old Camilo Barreto is charged with murder in the stabbing death of Diaz that occurred on the night of April 4. Diaz died after police arrived despite aid being administered by the first responders.

The Detectives Division of the Youngstown Police Department (YPD) found that their investigation led to Barreto as the main suspect. Barreto allegedly stabbed Diaz following a property dispute.

Baldwin Borough Police arrested Barreto in Pennsylvania after YPD detectives tracked him and reached out to police in the area to apprehend him.

Barreto is awaiting his murder trial now at the Mahoning County Jail.
