Police investigating child endangerment at house in Warren

Police are investigating after a suspect allegedly endangered children at a home in Warren.

According to a police report, the incident happened on June 4 in the 900 block of Lansdowne Avenue around 8 a.m.

According to the report, when officers arrived, the victim told police that the suspect had arrived on her property.

The victim alleges that when the suspect was asked to leave, he forced his way into the home.

According to the police report, the victim alleges that the suspect struck her in the side of the head and was waving around a handgun.

The report states that three children were present in the house at the time of the incident, and while the suspect was waving the handgun around, it was allegedly pointed in the direction of the children. 

One of the children present included a one-year-old that was on the ground near the adults during the incident, according to the police report.

The report states that officers have responded to the address with 82 prior calls for service and seven past reports for similar incidents between the two involved persons.

At this time, the suspect has not been identified and no arrests have been made.
