Moments of diluted blue, dry Tuesday too

This relatively brisk Tuesday morning (thanks to a refreshing airmass in place) has many of us feeling awake, with temperatures falling into the 50s alongside a clear sky and relaxed winds over our landscape. Do budget extra time for your morning rush, as patchy fog is present in the usual spots.

Overall, a well-deserved, sun-drenched stretch of weather is underway, bringing a welcome reprieve to the water logged forecast. You can breathe easy today—the AC can stay off for now! Mother Nature has delivered a wonderfully comfortable and, importantly, dry Tuesday with afternoon temps rising to room temperature, the low 70s. Savor these conditions, though, as the 'air you can wear' will be back by the tail end of the week.

A smoky sun, thanks to overhead Canadian wildfire smoke, accompanies another day of a welcomed dip in humidity for Wednesday. However, those with respiratory ailments should note that our air quality will be moderate.

Consistently warm temperatures will grab your attention this upcoming week, ushering in a summer-like feel especially late in the week. Highs are expected to return to the 80s on Thursday and Friday with an increase in the humidity.

Believe it or not, the now laughable rain chances are set to return for the weekend, affecting both Saturday and Sunday. This unwelcome return would mark an astounding 21 out of 24 weekends so far this year in northeastern Ohio/western Pennsylvania with at least a trace of precipitation. As Benjamin Franklin famously quipped, in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes, and a rainy day on the weekends in northeastern Ohio/western Pennsylvania - ok I added that last part, but this pattern has us all just asking, “why?” It's hard to break a habit especially an unsettled rainy pattern that we have been plagued with.

Have a great Tuesday!
