Boardman’s Target department store has once again been targeted by misbehaving juveniles.
The latest incident is outlined in a police report of two male juveniles allegedly riding scooters recklessly inside the business and disturbing customers.
Police were called by a Target employee reporting a disturbance at around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
According to the police report, the juveniles were recklessly seen riding scooters, nearly striking several customers. When the employee asked them to leave the store, one of the juveniles reportedly refused. When the employee told the boys she was calling the police, both juveniles ran toward the exit. As one juvenile exited the store, he repeatedly screamed, "rape."
Officers found the two juveniles a short time later at another nearby store. Police told the two that they were being criminally trespassed from Target, meaning they are banned from the store.
The incident is the latest in a series of disturbances involving unruly juveniles at the Boardman Target. In April, two males were arrested for trespassing at the store after being recognized from prior trespass warnings. In March, police reported several instances of juveniles loitering, spraying silly string inside the store, and causing disturbances, leading to several groups being banned for two years
