According to a news release, a new lab testing facility will be hosting its grand opening and is inviting the community.
The grand opening is set for June 17 at 11 a.m. at the Any Lab Test Now testing facility, located at 15 Boardman-Canfield Road, Suite 2, Youngstown.
The owners are inviting the public to check out the business and ask questions.
The franchised location is owned and operated by Paul and Mariya Pirolli.
Any Lab Test Now, according to the release, is a franchise direct access lab testing company that provides thousands of standard lab tests to consumers and businesses.
According to the release, Any Lab Test Now has over 230 locations nationwide. This list now includes the Youngstown location.
According to Mariya, this Any Lab Test Now location is the first within the Mahoning Valley, and has been serving customers for about two months as of June.
Mariya told 21 News that she and her husband chose to open their location of Any Lab Test Now because they had seen family member suffering because of health problems.
They believe that a model like this could help provide people with the ability to monitor and take control of their health.
"We are so excited to bring Any Lab Test Now to our community," said Mariya.
She continued," We are looking forward to helping our neighbors take control of their health by providing them direct access to affordable lab testing."
Mariya told 21 News that the store offers over 8,000 tests, including general health, DNA and ancestry testing, sexually transmitted diseases, drugs and alcohol and other rapid testing.
Rapid tests include, according to Mariya, strep throat tests, pregnancy tests, certain drugs and more.
Customers can walk into the Any Lab Test Now location and get their test done in about 20 minutes, according to the release.
Mariya told 21 News that rapid test results would be available shortly after testing is completed. However, for tests that need more processing, the results may not be available for 24 to 48 hours.
Mariya also specified that for certain tests, such as DNA and ancestry, results could take up to one week.
Mariya told 21 News that although the facility does not accept insurance, customers receive a complete receipt of services that customers can submit to their insurance companies to be reimbursed.
Although testing can't be paid for through insurance, customers could pay for testing through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA), according to Mariya.
"This new Any Lab Test Now location is bringing an incredible resource to the residents and business owners in the community," said Any Lab Test Now CEO Clarissa Bradstock.
Bradstock continued," We give consumers access to thousands of tests at a transparent price by way of a proven business model that has worked time after time in markets coast to coast. We are so happy to see Paul and Mariya open their doors and we cannot wait to celebrate their success."
The Any Lab Test Now location is open six days a week. Hours are listed in the news release as 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. of Saturdays.
According to Mariya, the business is HIPPA certified, and customer privacy will be respected.
