Humane agents are investigating after the discovery of a dead dog and three emaciated cats on Youngstown’s Southside.
Police say the animals were found in a home on West Chalmers Avenue late Tuesday.
It’s believed that they had been in the abandoned house for quite some time.
The cats have been taken in for veterinary care.
The discovery came just hours after humane agents rescued 14 neglected dogs from a home on the city’s East Side.
