A crash involving a semi-tractor trailer shut down part of State Route 30 in Columbiana County early Thursday.
According to the Hanover Twp. Volunteer Fire Department, the truck knocked down a utility pole, closing Route 30 just west of Kensington.
State Troopers tell 21 News that the driver complained of a sore neck but was not hospitalized.
The FirstEnergy website shows 30 homes and businesses reported without power as of 4:45 a.m. However, it’s unknown if the accident is to blame for the outages. The utility expects to have power restored by 6:30 a.m.
