Mostly dry for any Father's Day Plans

Mild and muggy is the theme of our forecast over the next couple of days, and that begins on Sunday.

Clouds will be around for much of the day with just a few breaks of sunshine, helping temperatures into the upper 70s. A spotty shower or two cannot be ruled out during the afternoon or evening, but there will be plenty of time to get outside on Father's Day.

Monday will be a very similar story with highs again in the upper 70s. A stray shower or two will become possible during the afternoon and evening, especially in southern portions of our viewing area. Otherwise, skies will be mainly cloudy with a few breaks of sun.

Rain chances will be higher on Tuesday, with showers and storms becoming likely by midday. Showers will stick around through the afternoon before tapering off Tuesday evening. The forecast remains unsettled for Wednesday with a chance for a shower or storm during the afternoon.

After another round of showers and storms on Thursday, the forecast will briefly quiet down on Friday. The end of the work week will see partial sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s.
