A Sharon man remains jailed on $125,000 bond as he faces 56 drug-related charges following a police search of his home. Authorities seized suspected crack cocaine, heroin, and various drug paraphernalia.
Daniel Harold Greathouse Jr., 56, was arrested on Friday after officers from the Sharon City Police Department, along with a task force officer from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's narcotics division, searched his Ellsworth Street apartment.
According to a criminal complaint, officers found baggies of suspected crack cocaine, a baggie containing white powder, a baggie of suspected heroin, and a tissue holding 16 Tramadol pills. They also found digital scales and clear plastic baggies with white powder residue. Police noted other items at the scene, including torn plastic baggies with residue, additional digital scales, lottery tickets, used syringes with suspected narcotics, and glass smoking devices.
Greathouse is charged with one felony count of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. He also faces five misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance by an unregistered person and 50 misdemeanor counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Greathouse was arraigned on Friday before Magisterial District Judge Travis P. Martwinski. His preliminary hearing is set for June 25.
