Christ Our Savior Parish in Struthers kicks off its annual festival on Wednesday, offering three days of live music, carnival rides, and a variety of food.
The festival, held at 764 Fifth Street, opens Wednesday with "Kids Night." Discounted ride passes will be available, and entertainment includes a funny balloon artist from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., a magic show, and balloon animals. Other children's activities include amusement rides, pony rides, face painting, games like a fish pond, and mini golf.
Live music begins Thursday with Vintage Vinyl performing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Wrong Turn will take the stage Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., followed by The House Band on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Attendees can find traditional festival fare such as sausage sandwiches with peppers and onions, steak hoagies, pierogi from Holy Trinity, and french fries. Vendor food trailers will also be on site. A baked goods booth will offer sweet treats.
For adults, the festival features "Over and Under" and blackjack games under an outdoor tent, a beer tent, a basket raffle in the Great Hall,
and a 50/50 raffle.
Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for seniors, and free for children 12 and under.
