Seven charges have been filed against a Las Vegas man arrested after an incident Wednesday in Sharon that involved shots fired.
Stephen Kyle Hansen, 33, of Las Vegas, Nevada, is being held in the Mercer County Jail on $250,000 bond following his arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Brian Arthur.
Hansen faces felony charges, which include burglary, aggravated assault, vandalism, and criminal trespass. He also faces misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another person and using or possessing drug paraphernalia.
Sharon Police Chief Edward Stabile said officers were called to a disturbance on Hull Street shortly before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Stabile said a man was approached outside his home by Hansen, who attempted to get into his vehicle. The victim then ran into his home, and Hansen allegedly followed him.
Police said the victim shot at Hansen, who then left the house and ran to a vacant home nearby. No one was injured by the gunfire.
A preliminary hearing for Hansen is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. June 27.
