A Sharon man accused in the August 2024 shooting death of Terran Page-Hughes will face charges in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. Jamel Lamar Jordan, 32, had his case sent to the higher court following a preliminary hearing on Monday.

Jordan faces charges of criminal homicide, first-degree murder, and carrying a firearm without a license. He has been held in the Mercer County Prison since his arrest on May 16, 2025, with bail denied due to the nature of the charges.

Page-Hughes, 35, was found shot in the head on the 800 block of Ravine Place in Sharon on August 1, 2024, after police responded to several calls about shots fired. He later died at the hospital.

Investigators believe Jordan and Daniel Odem went to Ravine Place to confront Page-Hughes, and they are suspected of shooting him. Charges against Odem were initially dropped due to a witness issue.

A third man arrested in the case, Billy DeWayne Phillips, will be sentenced in July after being found guilty of aggravated assault and conspiracy.

Jordan's formal arraignment in Common Pleas Court is scheduled for August 26, 2025, before Judge Tedd C. Nesbit.
