WRTA earns ENPOWER certification as EV-friendly workplace

The Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) has been certified as an ENPOWER certified friendly workplace.

According to a news release, Clean Fuels Ohio Chairman Tom Bullock presented the certification to WRTA's Chief Executive Officer Dean Harris and the Board of Trustees during their meeting Thursday.

The ENPOWER certification highlights WRTA's leadership in supporting employee and public EV charging infrastructure, developing EV-friendly policies and contributing to clean transportation initiatives in the Mahoning Valley. 

Harris says the certification reflects WRTA's dedication to environmental stewardship and advancing clean energy transportation solutions.

"We are proud to create a workplace that embraces sustainable practices and supports the growing use of electrical vehicles," Harris said.
