Cafaro Foundation plans to help Vienna Township deal with financial woes

According to a release, the Cafaro Company intends to hold a news conference geared towards financial struggles in Vienna Township.

The meeting will involve Cafaro Company representatives, its philanthropic arm, the Cafaro Foundation along with Vienna Township Trustees.

In July of 2024, the Ohio Auditor declared Vienna Township in a fiscal emergency after taxes and funds were reported missing earlier in the year. Then in June of 2025, trustees passed a resolution to cancel two tax levies that would cut funding to emergency medical and fire services.

It was mentioned in the release the conference will address the financial burden that has challenged trustees to ensure safety to residents in the community.

The conference will take place on Tuesday, July 1 at noon.
