A West Virginia man has been found guilty of all charges against him in a 2021 murder case out of East Liverpool.

After just a few hours of deliberations, 35-year-old Elvin Tisdale of Newell, West Virginia was found guilty of murder and aggravated murder, both with firearm specifications, as well as having weapons under disability.

Tisdale was sentenced immediately following this verdict with Judge Megan Bickerton sentencing him to life in prison without the chance of parole.

Tisdale was one of two suspects in the shooting death of 20-year-old Brycen Douglas of East Liverpool. Douglas was killed in front of a home on Pennsylvania Avenue in July of 2021.

Co-defendant Allen Tisdale pled guilty in May to involuntary manslaughter in connection with Douglas's death. He's set for sentencing July 21.
