The Mercer County Food Bank (MCFB) is expanding its distribution hours to include times later in the afternoon.
Typically, the food bank operates its mobile food pantry in the late morning to early afternoon hours, but there have been requests to start pop-up distributions later in the day.
"We are testing later distribution hours, as we've received feedback from many neighbors who are in need of food, but unable to make it to our regularly scheduled distribution's due to work and other conflicts," said MCFB Executive Director Rebecca Page.
A pop-up distribution will be held in the Sharon City Center parking lot from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 27.
These potential late afternoon pop-up distributions will be on top of already planned distribution days throughout every month. Below are the locations, times and days of the month these arranged distributions will occur.
