Several car shows set throughout the summer in Lawrence County

According to a news release, several places around Lawrence County, Pennsylvania will be hosting car shows throughout the summer of 2025.

According to the release, these outdoor car shows aim to be family-friendly events. 

Most of the events seen on the Visit Lawrence County website will have food, activities and entertainment to round out the event, according to the release.

• July 4-5: Back to the 50s Weekend located at Cascade Park, 1928 East Washington Street, New Castle. Gates open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., featuring cars, truck and motorcycles along with food and live entertainment. Event will be in rain or shine. A portion of proceed will benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
• July 12: West Pittsburg Station Fest located at West Pittsburg Train Station, 805 9th Street, West Pittsburg. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring food trucks, a chance auction, craft vendors, a 50/50 raffle and more.
• July 19: Enon Valley Community Day located at 1084 Main Street, Enon Valley. Open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., featuring a fireman's parade, historical displays, a road raley and car show, vendors, food and more.
• July 25: Challenges Car Show located at 2706 Mercer Road, New Castle. Open from noon to 3 p.m., featuring live music by The Sounds of Theresa Ross. Car sign up can be done with Rachel at 724-658-3729 extension 5175. Spaces are limited.
• July 26: American with Disabilities Act Celebration located at Cascade Park, 1928 East Washington Street, New Castle. Open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring free picnic food, live music, kid's activities, vendors, a firework show and entertainment.
• August 1: Wampum Homecoming Weekend located on Main Street, Wampum.
• August 10: Celebrating Our American Service Men & Women Extravaganza located at Cascade Park, 1928 East Washington Street, New Castle. Open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., featuring live music, food trucks, tributes and awards for cars and motorcycles, crafts and local vendors, a chance raffle and 50/50 raffle and a bounce house.
• August 21: Ultimate Car Cruise located at Union Plaza, 2567 West State Street, New Castle.
• August 23: Airplanes & Automobiles located at New Castle Municipal Airport, 406 Frank Farone Drive, New Castle. Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring airplane and helicopter rides, unique food trucks and more. Entry is free.
• August 31: 16th Annual "Memories" Car Cruise located in Downtown New Castle. Open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., featuring classic and special interest vehicles, live music, door prizes, event t-shirts, a 50/50 raffle, food and a chance raffle. Registration starts at 10 a.m.
• September 14: Briar Brook Barn Car Cruise located at 330 Eastbrook-Neshannock Falls Road, New Castle. 
• September 27: Ellwood City Fall Fest & Car Cruise located in Downtown Ellwood City. Open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring more than 600 custom, classic and antique cars, over 50 vendors, food trucks, kids games and crafts, a petting zoo and more.
