Majority Whip Santucci appointed to several national committees

Majority Whip Nick Santucci (R-Niles) has been appointed to several committees according to a news release on June 30, 2025.

Representative Santucci has been appointed to four National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) and Midwestern Legislative Conference (MLC) Committees.

Committees included in the release are as follows:

The NCSL was created in 1975 and serves America's 50 states, commonwealths, territories and the District of Columbia, according to the release.

Additionally, the NCSL aims to foster interstate cooperation and facilitate information exchange among legislatures.

The MLC is a nonpartison association of legislators representing Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

According to the release, the MLC is a branch of the Council of State Governments which aims to promote excellence in state government, networking among legislators and create interstate communication.

"I am honored to be appointed by Speaker Matt Huffman to these committees and to represent Ohio on a national level through the National Conference of State Legislatures and the Midwestern Legislative Conference," said Rep. Santucci.
