Two vehicle crash on Route 224 near Boardman sends passengers to hospital

BOARDMAN Responders were on the scene of a two vehicle crash according to a dispatcher with the Canfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).

The call came in at 4:53 p.m. on Monday for reports of a crash in the area of Route 224 and West Boulevard near Boardman.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The dispatcher with OSHP confirmed that someone had been injured in the crash, but it is unclear how many people were involved.

According to troopers on scene, all passengers were out of the vehicles when officials arrived. 

Troopers say that no passengers sustained life-threatening injuries, but all were taken to the hospital.

According to police, it is unclear at this time who is at fault. The crash is under investigation.
