Several road closures set for Mahoning County next week

Several road closures are set to begin in Mahoning County beginning next week.

Starting Monday, July 7, East Garfield Road in Springfield Township will be closed through Tuesday, July 8 between Macklin Road and State Route 165 to complete a necessary culvert replacement.

The detour route will be Columbiana Road to SR-165 to East Garfield Road. Overnight closures are possible.

Also starting Monday, July 7, Silica Road in Jackson Township is set to close between Bailey Road and SR-45 for approximately 30 days in order to replace a living structure.

The detour route will be North Bailey Road to Gladstone Road to SR-45. This is a complete closure.

Additionally starting on Wednesday, July 9, Beaver-Springfield Road in Springfield Township will be closed through Friday, July 11 between East Garfield Road and East Pine Lake Road to complete a necessary culvert replacement.

The detour route will be East Pine Lake Road to SR-165 to Grant Street to East Garfield Road.

Finally, parts of W. Pine Lake Road beginning on Monday, July 7, will be closed through to Friday, July 11 to allow for necessary culvert replacements.

On Monday, the section of W. Pine Lake Rd. between SR 14 and Duck Creek Rd. will be closed. The detour route will be SR 14 to SR 165 to Duck Creek Road.

From Tuesday through Wednesday, the section between SR 14 and Seacrist Rd. will be closed. The detour route would be SR 14 to Seacrist Road.

The last section in need of work is between Seacrist Rd. and SR 534 which will be closed from Thursday through Friday. The detour route will be SR 14 to SR 165 to SR 534.

Overnight closures on W. Pine Lake Rd. are possible.
