St. Clair Township Police have issued an alert for a missing or abducted child Tuesday evening.
According to the release, 16-year-old Ericka Heaton was last seen leaving her home on Grimms Bridge Road in East Liverpool at 6 p.m. on May 31, 2025.
St. Clair Township Police Chief Brian McKenzie tells 21 News no foul play is suspected at this time and this is believed to be a runaway situation.
McKenzie tells 21 News when Heaton was first reported as missing, police first reached out to other agencies who had located her in the past, but were ultimately unable to find her.
Heaton has previously been reported as missing as recently as May of 2024.
Heaton is described as a white female, is 5'8" tall and weighs 120 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing shorts, a hoodie and glasses.
The missing child alert has been issued for Columbiana, Carroll, Jefferson, Mahoning and Stark counties.
