Youngstown Police locate family of child found alone in city

YOUNGSTOWN The Youngstown Police Department has located a family member of a child found standing alone in the city.

Police were alerted about the child standing alone near the intersection of Oak Hill Avenue and Willis Avenue around 6 a.m. Wednesday. The child was taken to the police department to ensure his safety.

Police say the child's communication skills were limited, so police were unable to determine his identity. However, police have since identified a family member of the child.
