LISBON According to a release, the Columbiana County Health District has added two additional dates to provide individuals with skin cancer screenings.
The clinics are scheduled on Wednesday, July 16 and Wednesday, August 20 both located at 7360 State Route 45 in Lisbon.
One in five Americans will develop skin cancer at some point in their lifetime. In order to treat the cancer effectively, early detection is key.
If one notices any skin abnormalities such as color pigmentation changes or skin lesions that do not heal, the Health District encourages the individual to attend.
Residents who live within the General Health District do not have to pay to get the screening, but those who live in Salem, East Liverpool and outside of Columbiana County will need to pay a $5 fee.
Appointments are required to attend the clinic. Those can be made by calling 330-424-0272 ext. 114.
