Hundreds of people were without power this morning because of an accident in Boardman Township.
A truck knocked over a utility pole and wires at a gas station along Market Street and Indinola Avenue shortly before 4 a.m.
According to FirstEnergy, 560 homes and businesses in the area lost electricity as a result. By 7 a.m., the number of outages had been reduced to seven.
A Hazmat crew was dispatched to contain fluid leaking from electrical transformers damaged in the crash.
There are no reports of injuries.
